At first, I am so sorry I haven´t been able to take part in this discussion as much as I wanted to. And Thank you for all of you who have asnwered the questions..

About the code words of lab caches. I have been visiting lab caches where the codes have been something like 1000110011110 or ABDACAA.. so when we talked about the codes we thought that understanding the word is not The Thing. So we decided that the code word is in Finnish, but it has to be easy enough for foreigners to write correctly without understanding it.

And we also discussed about having instructions near lab caches.. And we thought about few things: Usually there are no instructions on geocaches either.. so we thought that the people who are geocaching are clever enough to find out themselves what to do.. and actually that was the idea.. That you have to think a little bit.. (or maybe discuss with someone who is there at the same time..) We also thought that if there are some papers you need to read, it will probably cause queueing.

I have allowed community contributions to the subtitles of the videos. So basically anyone can add English (or any other language) subtitles. To clarify, I did not mean to have instructions at each lab cache. I mean that something can be done to make the passwords more meaningful and give context to people who don't know Finnish. It may not be the point of the cache, but it helps them relate the word to the theme of the cache. (eg. Smells > smell of the sea > salt) Why wouldn't you want foreigners to learn what the word means? To you it would be a meaningful word, to foreigners it would be the same as 100101101.

So for example, if the password was KUUTTI, it would be written on the block as "KUUTTI (baby seal)". Then in the general instructions on the paper we were given, it would say "Please enter the Finnish word (the one printed in capital letters)".

Aivan mahtava reissu oli ja kaikkeen ohjelmaankaan ei ehtinyt kun aikataulut meni miten meni.

Toi Camus Calla tais olla kyllä mulle aika liian poikkitaiteellinen tai sitten vaan jäin auttamattomasti pihalle, kun ei mitään ohje lappuja saatu vaikka tultiin infosta infoa hakemaan vähän ennen kahta lauantaina. No lopulta kun uuvuttava päivä sai siinä epämääräisessä ääntelyssä tämän pojan hyytymään vain pahemmin, niin siirryttiin katsomaan paljon hienompaa näkymää, joka vei kyllä voiton kaikesta. Auringonlasku oli aivan sairaan upea.

Onkos Megan muistokätkö jo julkaistu johon sai FBA:n lokata hiekkasärkkien citossa?

Ei ole näkynyt. Mutta olisi kiva tietää, onko tämä vielä tulossa. Tästä keskustellaan kätköilijöiden kesken, mutta vastausta ei ole vielä löytynyt. Uudempia piilotettuja on jo julkaistu, joten tuskin on julkaisujonossakaan. Parin viikon löydetyt kätköt on nyt loggaamatta, kun on jäänyt odottamaan tätä. Ei millään viitsisi alkaa käsin muuttamaan virstanpylväitä yms., jos tämä sitten ilmestyykin. Sekin on ok, jos ei tulekaan, jos vain tietäisi, kannattaako vielä pitää muut löydetyt holdissa. Megan muistokätkö tulossa pikapuolin ,kunhan alueelta löytyy sopiva kätkönpaikka. Kätkökuvaus, purkki ja camo valmiina mutta alue niin täynnä kätköjä että sopiva paikka purkille hiukan hakusessa satutaatioitten kanssa, eikä oikeen keskelle hiekkadyynejä voi purkkia heittää .Mutta viimeistään sunnuntaina jonoon
